The Government has decided to table the report of the Liberhan Commission on Babri Masjid demolition in the Parliament on Tuesday.
An emergency cabinet meeting headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee was held today to discuss the tabling of the Liberhan Commission of Inquiry report in parliament.
The government is keen that the controversy over it having been leaked to Indian Express, which caused an uproar in Parliament on Monday and led to both Houses being adjourned, is brought to a swift end.
The commission report was submitted on May 30. It had to be tabled by December 30, along with the Action Taken Report, but following the leak it is being tabled earlier.
